Shloka ou śloka (devanāgarī: श्लोक)[1] est un terme sanskrit qui signifie strophe ou stance héroïque. Le śloka signifie aussi mètre épique dont l'invention est attribuée à Vālmīki et se situe au IVe siècle avant notre ère.
