NCR Corporation est une entreprise américaine, fondée en 1884, connue pour ses caisses enregistreuses et DAB (distributeurs de billets). Elle l'est également par Bernardo Trujillo le gourou de la grande distribution dans les années 1950.
NCR a également été constructeur d'ordinateurs et a édité la base de données relationnelle Teradata spécialisée dans les très gros volumes de données et utilisée pour certains datawarehouse en informatique décisionnelle. Depuis le 1er octobre 2007, la business unit Teradata est devenue indépendante de NCR et est cotée à la bourse de New York sous le nom de Teradata Corporation.
L'abréviation NCR signifie National Cash Register, ils ont inventé la caisse enregistreuse à la fin du XIXe siècle.

AT&T
NCR a été acquis par AT&T le 19 septembre 1991. Mais en 1995 AT&T a décidé de s'en séparer. NCR est redevenu indépendant le 1er janvier 1997.
