New Orleans Pelicans est le nom porté par plusieurs formations de baseball basées à La Nouvelle-Orléans. La plus significative de ces équipes est celle qui opère de 1901 à 1959 en Southern Association. D'abord indépendante, elle se lie ensuite à des franchises de ligues majeures : Cleveland Indians (1931, 1934-1939), Pittsburgh Pirates (1948-1956), Boston Red Sox (1946-1947), Brooklyn Dodgers (1943-1944), St. Louis Cardinals (1940-1942) et New York Yankees (1957-1958).
