2008
Lors du première épisode de Smackdown! en Janvier, Il était l'arbitre spéciale d'un match qui opposait Undertaker à Mark Henry, Undertaker était sur le point de remporté le match quand Matt Striker arrêta le décompte du tombée à 2 (alors qu'il s'arrête au compte de 3 habituellement) et est partit du ring, il n'y a pas eu d'autre arbitre, donc le match n'a pas eu de gagnant. Suite à cela Big Daddy V et Mark Henry entre en rivalité contre l'Undertaker et Matt Striker est venu s'ajouter aux conflits, cette rivalité s'arrêta lorsque Big Daddy V est arrêté et que l'Undertaker entamma une nouvelle rivalité contre Edge.Matt Striker était le manager de Big Daddy V à la ECW.
2009
En 2009 Striker est commentateur dans la division ECW avec anciennement Todd Grisham mais maintenant avec Josh Mathews.
