En 2006, Il a reçu un Grammy Award pour la vidéo de Lose Control co-réalisée avec Missy Elliott.

En 1999 il réalise un premier long-métrage, une comédie avec Eddie Griffin, Foolish. En 2007, il réalise le film Hitcher.
