Histoire du livre
C'est en 2000 que Stephen King décide de mettre à jour son œuvre, The Plant. Pour cela, il reprend le roman inachevé qu'il avait arrêté quelques années auparavant, et le divulgue sur internet par le biais d'Amazon.com. Le transfert par épisode finit néanmoins par un échec, suite à la baisse des téléchargements sur le site.
