Le shibushi, également appelé kibushi, kibuki, ou tout simplement bushi, est une langue parlée à Mayotte. « Shibushi » est un terme mahorais. Le mot utilisé par les ses locuteurs est « kibushi ». Ces derniers sont au nombre de 39 000 (2001).
Le shibushi est la seconde langue parlée à Mayotte après le shimaore, même si le français reste la langue officielle. Les villages où l'on parle cette langue sont les suivants : Bambo-Est, M'Boueni, Passi-Kéli, M'Ronabeja, Kani-Kéli, Chirongui, Poroani, Ouangani, Chiconi, Sohoa, M'tsangamouji, Acoua, M'tsangadoua, Handrema.
Avec les différents parlers malgaches, le bushi forme un sous-groupe dans le groupe dit "barito" de la branche malayo-polynésienne des langues austronésiennes. Le shibushi est proche du malgache parlé dans le nord-ouest de Madagascar, à Diego Suarez et Majunga).
Le bushi est une langue du type VOS.
