Le petit déjeuner anglais ou petit déjeuner irlandais en Irlande (aussi appelé full breakfast ou fry-up) est le déjeuner typique des pays anglophones. Il est connu pour son contenu fort en matière grasse.
Composition
Ce repas est accompagné de jus d'orange, de café et de thé.
Il peut se présenter sous forme d'un sandwich.
Variantes régionales
Il y a de nombreuses variantes de ce repas. On en trouve en Irlande, Ulster, Écosse, au Pays de Galles, Angleterre, en Amérique du Nord et Amérique centrale.
Ulster fry
Le repas matinal complet en Ulster, connu aussi comme un Ulster fry, normalement contient des tranches, des saucissons, du pain au lait, du pain de patate et des tomates.
