Xiuhcoatl (nom nahuatl signifiant littéralement « serpent de turquoise », « serpent d'herbe »[2], « serpent bleu »[2], « serpent de l'an »[2], c'est-à-dire de manière figurée « serpent de feu »[3],[4]) est, dans la mythologie aztèque, à la fois l'esprit du dieu Xiuhtecuhtli, une de ses incarnations[5], son esprit gardien[6] ou un de ses attributs (pouvant être représenté sur son dos[7], ou sur celui de Tezcatlipoca[8]) et une arme utilisée à sa naissance par le dieu Huitzilopochtli pour tuer sa sœur, la déesse Coyolxauhqui[4],[9], et ses frères, les Huitznahua[10].
