Diane Kurys est une actrice, productrice, réalisatrice et scénariste française, née le 3 décembre 1948 à Lyon (France).

Biographie

Fille d'immigrés russes, elle a vécu à Lyon. Elle a 6 ans lorsque ses parents divorcent. Sa mère s'installe à Paris avec ses filles. Après des études au lycée Henri IV, elle commence une carrière de comédienne. En 1964, elle rencontre Alexandre Arcady dans un kibboutz, avec qui elle aura un fils, jeune écrivain connu sous le nom de Sacha Sperling. Elle fut comédienne au début des années 70, notamment au théâtre au sein de la Compagnie Renaud-Barrault avant de se tourner vers la réalisation[1].

Elle fut membre du jury, lors du Festival du cinéma américain de Deauville 2004.
