Anthelasma au-dessus d'un oeil droit
Le xanthelasma est un dépôt lipidique de couleur chamois (jaune orangé) au niveau de l'angle nasal de l'œil sur la paupière ; ce peut-être un signe d'hypercholestérolémie ou le résultat d'une prédisposition génétique sans relation avec un problème de cholestérol.
L'apparition de Xanthelasma aurait une forte valeur prédictive positive de risque d'accidents cardio-vasclaire[1].
