Troy Aikman, né le 21 novembre 1966 à West Covina (Californie), est un ancien joueur de football américain.
Biographie
Doué pour le baseball et le football américain, Troy Aikman brille dans ces deux disciplines en lycée. Il est même drafté par les New York Mets dès sa sortie du lycée pour évoluer en Major League Baseball mais il préféra poursuivre en football américain en universitaire. Il devient alors quarterback des Oklahoma Sooners (NCAA) puis des UCLA Bruins (NCAA). Il gagne le titre NCAA en 1985 avec les Sooners en remporte l'Aloha Bowl 1987 puis le Cotton Bowl 1989 avec les Bruins. Drafté en N°1 du premier tour en 1989, il joua pour les Dallas Cowboys (NFL) de 1989 à 2000. Il remporta trois Super Bowl (1992, 1993 et 1995) avec les Cowboys et fut sélectionné pour jouer six Pro Bowl (1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 et 1997). Il fut admis au Pro Football Hall of Fame en 2006.
Il est actuellement commentateur pour les matchs de football américain sur les réseaux de la chaîne de télévision américaine Fox.
