Samantha Eggar, née Victoria Louise Samantha Marie Elizabeth Therese Eggar est une actrice anglaise née le 5 mars 1939 à Hampstead, Londres, Angleterre.
Biographie
Son père Ralph A. J. Eggar était brigadier dans l'armée britannique et sa mère Muriel était d'ascendance néerlando-portugaise. Elle a épousé Tom Stern en 1964 et a divorcé en 1971. Elle est la mère de l'actrice Jenna Stern et du producteur de films Nicolas Stern. Elle débute dans des séries TV, mais c'est avec le film Dr. Crippen et surtout L'Obsédé, le film sulfureux de William Wyler qui choqua l'Angleterre puritaine, qu'elle accède à la notoriété.
