Marvel Studios est une société de production cinématographique en prises de vue réelles et en animation assurant les adaptations cinématographiques des productions de Marvel Entertainment, essentiellement issu des Marvel Comics.
Depuis le rachat de Marvel Entertainment par la Walt Disney Company fin 2009, le studio est rattaché au Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group mais jouit de la même liberté artistique que Pixar[1].
Les studios de Marvel sont situés au 1600 Rosecrans Avenue à Manhattan Beach en Californie, au sein du complexe Raleigh Manhattan Beach Studio .

Historique
Le 7 décembre 2009, David Maisel annonce son départ du poste de pdg du studios après le rachat par Disney[2].
Le 18 octobre 2010, Disney annonce payer 115 millions d'USD à Paramount Pictures pour reprendre les droits de commercialisation et de distribution de deux films Marvel, The Avengers (2012) et Iron Man 3 (2013)[3].
