KW Sagitarii est une supergéante rouge variable de type spectral M1.5Iab. Elle se situe à 9000 années-lumière de la Terre. Avec sa taille de 1460 diamètres solaires, cette étoile fait partie des plus grandes étoiles connues. Elle se situe dans la constellation du Sagittaire.
