Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes of the Lance ou Heroes of the Lance est le premier volet d'une trilogie de jeux vidéo de rôle et d'action dans l'univers de Lancedragon créé pour Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. Sorti en 1988 sur Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, MS-DOS, ZX Spectrum puis en 1989 sur PC-88 et en 1991 sur NES, MSX2 et Sega Master System.
Heroes of the Lance est développé par U.S. Gold pour Strategic Simulations, Inc.. Il suit la trame de Dragons d'un crépuscule d'automne, un roman de fantasy écrit par Margaret Weis et Tracy Hickman, publié en 1984 et connu pour être la première adaptation littéraire de l'univers Lancedragon et le premier roman des Chroniques de Lancedragon. Il suit le périple de huit héros à travers la cité en ruine de Xak Tsaroth et leur combat contre l'ancien dragon Khisanth.
Le joueur contrôle un seul héros à la fois et le gameplay ressemble plus à celui d'un jeu de combat à déroulement horizontal (side-scroller) qu'à celui d'un jeu de rôle.
Deux suites à Heroes of the Lance sont sorties : Dragons of Flame et Shadow Sorcerer.
