Henley (ou Henley-on-Thames) est une ville de l'Oxfordshire, Angleterre. Elle se trouve entre les villes de Reading et Marlow à côté du fleuve la Tamise.
Histoire
Henley-on-Thames fut établie au XIIe siècle. Henley doit beaucoup à sa situation géographique approvisionnant Londres en bois et céréales.
Henley est célèbre pour avoir accueilli en 1829 pour sa première édition, "The Boat Race", la fameuse course d'aviron entre les universités de Cambridge et d'Oxford.
Le corps du Général Dumouriez se trouve dans son église.

Anecdote
La ville a servit à plusieurs reprise de décors pour certains épisodes de la série Inspecteur Barnaby.
