  • On parle également d'exploitation sociale,ou sexuelle lorsqu'un individu ou un groupe d'individus est abusé par d'autres. Voir par exemple exploitation de l'enfant.
  • Selon la théorie marxiste, l'exploitation est l'extorsion de la plus-value générée par le travail du salarié par le capitaliste.
