La Central line (ligne centrale) est une des 11 lignes de l'Underground, le métro londonien.
Caractéristiques
Elle a pour couleur le rouge, notamment sur le plan du métro.
Elle transporte plus de 180 millions de personnes par an, c'est la seconde ligne la plus empruntée, juste après la Northern Line (ligne du nord).
Elle traverse la ville d'Est en Ouest. Cette ligne est située en profondeur dans le sol londonien. Elle possède la plus grande longueur totale de voies mais n'est pas la plus longue ligne du réseau en kilométrage.
