Xenophrys major est une espèce d'amphibien de la famille des Megophryidés. Sa répartition s'étand de la Chine (Yunnan, Guangdong, Hunan & Hongkong), à l'Inde (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur & Nagaland), et en Birmanie, en Thaïlande, au Laos et au Viet-nam.
Xenophrys major Boulenger, 1908 est le nouveau nom de Xenophrys gigas Jerdon, 1870 préoccupé par Blyth, 1855.
