Prey Veng ("forêt longue" en khmer) est une province du Cambodge. Elle comprend 12 districts :

• 1401 Ba Phnum ("ancêtre de la colline" ou "colline sacrée" (Ba est alors un raccourci de Preah "sacré"))
• 1402 Kamchay Mear ("geyser de Māra, le démon tentateur du Bouddha")
• 1403 Kampong Trabaek ("port des Lagerstromia (Lythraceae), à belles fleurs mauves")
• 1404 Kanhchriech ("oiseau voisin du merle")
• 1405 Me Sang ("mère ou génie tutélaire féminin Sang ; Sang signifie "édifier en faisant une bonne action")
• 1406 Peam Chor ("confluence de Chor ; Chor est un nom propre signifiant "debout")
• 1407 Peam Ro ("confluence de Ro")
• 1408 Pea Reang ("reang" est l'arbre Barringtonia)
• 1409 Preah Sdach ("prince sacré")
• 1410 Prey Veaeng ("forêt longue")
• 1411 Kampong Leav ("port des Lao")
• 1412 Sithor Kandal ("Sithor du centre" ; Sithor est une contraction de Yashodharapura ("ville glorieuse"), ancien nom d'Angkor)
