Le Lord Gardien du sceau privé ou Lord du sceau privé (Lord Keeper of the Privy Seal ou Lord Privy Seal) est l'un des plus important haut-fonctionnaire supérieur du gouvernement britannique. En tant que cinquième Grand Officier d'État du Royaume-Uni, il est inférieur dans l'ordre de préséance au Lord Président du Conseil (Lord President of the Council) et supérieur au Lord Grand Chambellan (Lord Great Chamberlain).

La fonction est l'un des offices traditionnels de l'État. Initialement, son porteur était responsable du sceau personnel (privé) du monarque (par opposition au Grand sceau de l'État, qui est à la charge du Lord Chancelier).

Bien qu'étant une des plus anciennes charges du royaume, elle ne donne pas de fonction particulière à son titulaire, à l'exception de celle d'entrer au Cabinet, si bien qu'on le considère généralement comme l'équivalent d'un ministre sans portefeuille.

Depuis le gouvernement de Clement Attlee, cette charge a été fréquemment associée à celle de Leader de la Chambre des Lords (Leader of the House of Lords) ou de Leader de la Chambre des Communes (Leader of the House of Commons).
