ABC News est une division de American Broadcasting Company (ABC). C'est une chaîne d'informations qui se veut une concurrente de CNN et de CBS News.
Ses programmes phares sont World News Tonight avec Peter Jennings, This Week avec George Stephanopoulos, et Good Morning America.
Les autres programmes sont ABC's Newsmagazine, 20/20, Nightline et le programme d'information continue tout la nuit ABC World News Now.
Le principal journal World News Tonight a perdu son présentateur vedette Peter Jennings en 2005.
Le 28 juin 2005, un podcast ABC News a été lancé sur iTunes suite à un contrat entre Disney et Apple [1]
Le 4 avril 2008, UTV associé à Disney-ABC International Television lance une nouvelle chaîne en Inde, UTVi, syndication partielle des programmes d'ABC News[2].
