Joseph Chamberlain

Joseph Chamberlain (8 juillet 18362 juillet 1914) est un homme d'État britannique de la fin du XIXe et du début du XXe siècle. Impérialiste et protectionniste, il fut notamment secrétaire aux colonies (1895-1903) et provoqua la scission du parti libéral.

Il est le père du ministre des affaires étrangères Austen Chamberlain (1863-1937), Prix Nobel de la paix 1925, né d'un premier mariage, et du premier ministre britannique Arthur Neville Chamberlain (1869–1940), né d'une seconde union.
