Hawker-Siddeley
Hawker Siddeley Aircraft est un constructeur aéronautique anglais fondé en 1935 en tant que holding des sociétés Hawker Aircraft (initialement fondée par Harry Hawker en 1912), Gloster Aircraft, Armstrong Whitworth et Armstrong Siddeley Motors.
Ce constructeur est à l'origine de quelques avions célèbres comme le Hurricane, le Tempest, le Hunter et le Harrier.
En 1955, Hawker rachète le constructeur anglo-canadien Avro puis, en 1960, les constructeurs anglais De Havilland et Blackburn Aircraft Limited. La branche moteurs est revenue à Bristol en 1961.
En 1977, Hawker est nationalisé et fusionné avec d'autres sociétés pour former British Aerospace.
