Grace Elvina, marquise Curzon of Kedleston (14 avril 1879 - 27 mai 1958 à Londres) est née Grace Elvina Hinds en Alabama aux États-Unis. Elle est la fille de Joseph Monroe Hinds[1], ambassadeur des États-Unis au Brésil. Elle épouse en premières noces Alfred Hubert Duggan de Buenos Aires, avec qui elle aura trois enfants dont deux fils - Alfred Duggan, écrivain et Hubert Duggan, membre du parlement britannique[1]. Après la mort de son mari, elle épouse, en 1917 (à l'âge de 38 ans), George Curzon, vice-roi des Indes puis secrétaire d'État au Foreign Office.
En 1925, avant d'entamer son second veuvage, son portrait fut peint par l'artiste américain, John Singer Sargent. Cette toile (129.22 cm x 92.39 cm) fut le dernier portrait peint à l'huile par Sargent. Le tableau fut acheté en 1936 par le Currier Museum of Art de Manchester dans le New Hampshire[2]. Quelques années avant sa mort, en 1955, elle publie ses mémoires, intitulées Reminiscences, parues chez Hutchinson à Londres.
