Gianantonio Guardi ou Giovanni Antonio Guardi (Vienne, 1699 – Venise, 23 janvier 1761) est un peintre italien du XVIIIe siècle, le fils du peintre Domenico Guardi.
À la mort du père, étant l'aîné, il prend la direction de l'atelier et dirige ses frères, Nicolo Guardi et Francesco Guardi.
Ils collaborèrent ensemble à la réalisation de plusieurs œuvres à caractère religieux.
Son style, à effets décoratifs, révèle l’influence de Giovanni Battista Piazzetta par ses couleurs lumineuses et celle de Sebastiano Ricci dans la fine technique du trait.

Johann Matthias von der Schulenburg, militaire autrichien et grand collectionneur d'art fut son mécène.
Francesco Casanova fut un de ses élèves.
Il est devenu, en 1756, un des membres de l'Académie vénitienne, sûrement grâce à l'intervention de son beau-frère Giambattista Tiepolo, marié avec sa sœur Cecilia.
