Georgios Koundouriotis
Georgios Koundouriotis (en grec moderne : Γεωργιος Κουντουριώτης) (1782-1858) fut un héros de la guerre d'indépendance grecque et un homme politique grec. Il fut Premier ministre en 1848.
Il était originaire d'Hydra. Armateur, il mit sa fortune et ses navires au service de la cause nationale. Il fut membre, puis président du Comité national au début de la guerre d'indépendance.
Il participa au gouvernement de Ioannis Kapodistrias
Il était membre du « parti français » pendant le règne d'Othon Ier.
Son petit fils était Pavlos Koundouriotis, amiral et Président de la République grecque.
