Edward Hirsch Levi (26 juin 1911 – 7 mars 2000) fut un enseignant et homme politique américain qui fut Procureur général des États-Unis de 1975 à 1977.

Jeunesse

Edward Levi est né à Chicago dans l'Illinois. Il était fils et petit-fils de rabbin. Il fit ses études à l'université de Chicago dans les années 1930 et sortit diplômé de l'University of Chicago Law School en 1935. L'année suivante, il fut nommé professeur assistant à cette école et fut admis au barreau de l'Illinois.
