David Duke, né le 1er juillet 1950, est une personnalité politique américaine, activiste nationaliste blanc et écrivain.

Biographie

Ancien représentant d'État de la Louisiane, il fut candidat à l'investiture de la présidentielle américaine pour le Parti démocrate en 1988, échouant aux primaires, il se présente sous l'étiquette du Parti Populiste et obtient 47 047 voix, soit 0,04% des votes[1]. Il se présente ensuite pour les primaires du Parti républicain en 1992, et totalise 119 115 voix soit 0,94% des votes[2]. Sa notoriété vient aussi du fait qu'il est un ex-sorcier impérial des chevaliers du Ku Klux Klan. Condamné pour fraude fiscale, il a par ailleurs écrit un livre argumentant une théorie du complot sioniste international, ce qui lui a valu une invitation à la conférence iranienne sur l'Holocauste[3].

Il dresse le constat de la lutte raciale menée contre le peuple français et les peuples européens. Comparant les situations américaines et européennes et les mesures prises dans ces deux pays, il insiste sur les français blancs dont le gouvernement en prônant la mixité entrainerait le génocide et, en conséquence, demande l'inculpation de Nicolas Sarkozy[4].
