The Creative Assembly est un studio de développement anglais de jeu vidéo fondé en 1987, connu notamment pour la série Total War.
Histoire
Après la réalisation de divers jeux PC/Amiga pendant ses débuts (dont Shadow of the Beast distribué par Psygnosis), puis une période consacrée aux jeux de sports (notamment FIFA International Soccer distribués par EA Sports), ce studio s'est depuis reconverti dans le jeu de stratégie mélangeant à la fois le tour par tour et le temps réel avec la série Total War. Creative Assembly est rachetée par Sega le 8 mars 2005[2].
