Cowboy est le 8e album studio du groupe britannique Erasure, paru le 31 mars 1997. Cet album marque le retour du groupe à la pop galopante de leurs débuts, après le semi-échec commercial du précédent album, Erasure. Afin de moderniser un peu la texture sonore, Vince Clarke laissa une assez grande liberté de travail au producteur associé, Neil Mc Lellan, qui put introduire dans cet album un certain nombre d'arrangements trip-hop. Mieux classé (dans les pays où il est sorti) que le précédent album, Erasure, le succès commercial de Cowboy resta cependant moindre que celui de l'album I Say I Say I Say.
Une tournée de plusieurs mois suivit la parution de Cowboy.
