The Five Sacred Trees

The Five Sacred Trees est un concerto pour basson de John Williams. Composé en 1995 pour la bassoniste Judith LeClair à l'occasion du cent-cinquantième anniversaire du New York philharmonic, il est créé le 13 avril 1995 par l'Orchestre philharmonique de New York sous la direction de Kurt Masur. Les arbres sacrés appartiennent à la mythologie celtique d'après des textes de l'écrivain et poète britannique Robert Graves.
