Ray Thomas (né le 29 décembre 1941 à Stourport-on-Severn) est un musicien britannique.
Il est surtout connu en tant que membre du groupe de rock The Moody Blues, pour qui il a composé et chanté plusieurs chansons. Son instrument de prédilection est la flûte (voir son solo sur Nights in White Satin), mais il joue également du harmonica, du saxophone et du hautbois, entre autres.
En-dehors des Moody Blues, Ray Thomas a sorti deux albums en solo dans les années 1970 : From Mighty Oaks (1975) et Hopes Wishes and Dreams (1976). Il a quitté les Moody Blues fin 2002.
