Le Mazatlan Star, anciennement Monte Cinto pour la SNCM, est un navire mixte roulier construit en 1984 par les chantiers ACH - Construction Navale en France pour la SNCM. Il appartient à la Baja Ferries, société mexicaine[3]. Comme le Monte d'Oro, il tient son nom initial du nom d'un sommet corse, le Monte Cinto.
Il naviguait entre le continent et la Corse avant d'atteindre la limite d'âge imposé par Collectivité territoriale de Corse en 2009. Il a été remplacé par le Jean Nicoli.
