From the Inside est le onzième album studio d'Alice Cooper sorti en 1978.

Il a été inspiré par séjour de Cooper dans un sanatorium de New York en raison de son alcoolisme. Chacun des personnages dans les chansons ont été basés sur des personnes réelles que Cooper a rencontré en sanatorium. Avec cet album, le Alice Cooper Band a vu l'arrivée de trois anciens membres de la bande d'Elton John: le parolier Bernie Taupin, le guitariste Davey Johnstone et le bassiste Dee Murray.

Le succès public de l'album sera restreint (seulement 60e aux Charts américains[2] et 68e aux Charts britanniques[3]) par rapport aux précédents albums mais obtient un résultat honorable en France (classé 23e).

How You Gonna See Me Now a été publié en single en octobre 1978 et s'est classé à la 12e place au Billboard Pop Singles; le single comporte le titre No Tricks sur la Face-B. Le second single, From the Inside, a été publié en février 1979 en tant que single promotionnel[4].
