Lace and Whiskey est le dixième album studio d'Alice Cooper. Rongé par son alcoolisme, Alice Cooper laisse à Bob Ezrin et Dick Wagner la direction des opérations, aidés par de nombreux musiciens de studios. Il délaisse aussi pour la première fois son maquillage pour se faire une tête de detective privé sur la pochette de l'album.
La musique est de moins en moins rock, Franck Sinatra reprendra même le titre You and Me sur scène[1].
C'est le dernier album produit par Bob Ezrin. La même année sortira le premier album, "Battle Axe", des anciens musiciens du Alice Cooper Group rebaptisés Billion Dollar Babies.Après la tournée promotionnelle de l'album, Alice Cooper entrera en cure de désintoxication pour soigner son alcoolisme.Liste des titres
