La N-ribosylnicotinamide, ou nicotinamide β-riboside, est un riboside converti par la ribosylnicotinamide kinase (EC 2.7.1.22) en nicotinamide adénine dinucléotide (NAD+) via la nicotinamide mononucléotide (NMN) :

ATP + N-ribosylnicotinamide → ADP + NMN.
