What You See Is What You Mean
WYSIWYM, acronyme utilisé en informatique qui vient de l’anglais « What You See Is What You Mean », signifiant « ce que vous voyez est ce que vous voulez dire », par opposition au WYSIWYG : What You See Is What You Get.
Le principe est pour un logiciel, de représenter les informations en fonction de leur sens, de l’information à véhiculer (par opposition à « représenter les informations sous leur forme finale, pour impression, avec mise en forme à l’identique… »). Un des objectifs des interfaces WYSIWYM est de permettre une meilleure séparation du fond et de la forme lors de la création de documents.
