What You Waiting For? est une chanson du premier album solo de Gwen Stefani Love. Angel. Music. Baby. (2004).
Dans cette chanson, Gwen Stefani raconte son angoisse, ou tout du moins sa peur à l'idée de faire une carrière en solo (qui a débuté en 2004). Elle se parle à elle même en essayant de se stimuler pour écrire une chanson.
Dans son clip, on reconnait assez aisément le Roman de Lewis Carroll : Alice au pays des merveilles. On peut d'ailleurs y apercevoir des personnages tels que Alice (jouée par Gwen),le chat du Cheshire, le Lapin blanc, la Reine de Cœur (elle aussi jouée par Gwen Stefani) , Tweedledum et Tweedledee, le ver à soie, le bébé-cochon et la faune du pays des merveilles.
