Stiff Little Fingers est un groupe de punk originaire d'Ulster formé en 1977. Ils font leur début sous le nom de Highway Star, tiré du titre de la chanson de Deep Purple, faisant essentiellement des reprises de rock. Le groupe se sépare en 1982, après avoir réalisé 6 albums, pour finalement se reformer en 1987. Les membres du groupes ont beaucoup changé depuis leur début, à l'heure actuelle Jake Burns, le chanteur, est le seul membre qui ait été présent dans toutes les formations.
