Steven van Zandt
Steven Van Zandt, musicien et acteur américain surnommé Little Steven ou Miami Steve, est né le 11 Novembre 1950 à Winthrop dans l'état du Massachusetts.
Biographie
Il est surtout connu en tant que membre du E Street Band de Bruce Springsteen où il joue de la guitare et de la mandoline. Il joue également le rôle de Silvio Dante dans la série télévisée Les Soprano.
Artiste militant, il a créé en 1985 le groupe Artists United Against Apartheid contre la politique raciale en Afrique du Sud symbolisée par Sun City. 49 artistes, dont Miles Davis, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Bob Dylan ou Run DMC, ont collaboré à la chanson éponyme. Il a aussi écrit la chanson Baby please don't go pour l'album du même nom de Nancy Sinatra 2005. ) .
