Born in the U.S.A. est le septième album de Bruce Springsteen, sorti en 1984. Il a été N°1 au classement des meilleurs albums du Billboard 200[1] et N°1 au Royaume-Uni.

La chanson éponyme Born in the USA, véritable hymne dénonçant la guerre du Viêt Nam, fut utilisée par le Parti républicain américain à des fins électorales sans le consentement de l'auteur qui en fut outré. En 2004, le sénateur démocrate John Kerry a choisi la chanson No Surrender lors de sa campagne pour l'élection présidentielle américaine. Bruce Springsteen a soutenu le sénateur lors de cette campagne[2].
