Standard est un magazine trimestriel apparu en 2003 et implanté à Paris. Il associe deux univers : l'héritage culturel de la presse indépendante française (Actuel, Technikart) et la fraîcheur créative des titres trendy anglo-saxons (i-D, Dazed & Confused). Diffusé en France par les MLP et à l'étranger par le réseau Export press.


Chaque numéro décrypte un courant de fond de la société sous l’angle d’un grand thème. Sa logique participe autant du défrichage – découverte de nouveaux talents –, que d’une relecture pertinente du passé – mise en lumière de figures cultes qui inspirent le présent. Il alimente son contenu par de nombreux portfolios d'artistes et textes inédits d'écrivains.

Parmi les collaborations qui ont marqué son parcours, la première couverture du duo Justice (n°11), le dernier entretien d'Alain Robbe-Grillet (n°16), un portfolio du photographe Cheyco Leidmann (n°16) ou une série de mode avec Grizzly Bear, Metronomy et Amanda Lear (n°15).
