Le 9K37M1-2 "Buk-M1-2" (Russe Бук – beech, Code OTAN SA-17 Grizzly) est un système antiaérien polyvalent mobile russe de moyenne portée entré en service en 1979. Il est destiné à la défense de forces terrestres et de points vitaux (ponts, centre de communication, centrale électrique, etc)

Constitution

Le système se compose de quatre éléments:

  • Un radar d'acquisition, capable d'engager 6 objectifs simultanément
  • Un poste de commandement
  • Une plate-forme de tir, comportant 4 rampes de lancement
  • Un système de tir/chargement

Tout les éléments sont montés chacun sur un châssis chenillé, leur conférant une grande mobilité.

Versions

Une variante modernisée a été produite sous la dénomination BUK-M2E qui voit sa portée augmentée. Il est ainsi capable de détruire une cible aérodynamique à 45km et un missile balistique à 20km. Le missile utilisé reste le 9M317.
