Le prix Somerset-Maugham est un prix littéraire britannique remis au mois de mai de chaque année par la Society of Authors. Le prix est remis à un écrivain (ou des écrivains) considéré comme le meilleur parmi ceux ayant moins de 35 ans pour un livre publié dans la dernière année. Le prix, créé par William Somerset Maugham en 1947, est assorti d'une bourse de 6 000 livres sterling par gagnant, à être dépensé en voyages à l'extérieur du pays. Le montant total versé à chaque année est de 12 000 livres[1].
Depuis 1964, le prix a souvent été remis à plusieurs écrivains pendant une même année. En 1975, il n'a pas été remis.
