Jarring Effects est un label indépendant français de musique électronique créée en 1995.

Historique

Jarring Effects a été créée à Lyon en 1995 sous la forme d'une association. Située à Lyon, cette association démarre en rénovant un local afin de pouvoir jouer et enregistrer leur musique. En septembre 1998, Jarring Effects sort sa première compilation regroupant les groupes répétant au local à cette époque : Crazy spankers, Knick nack paddywack, tong !, etc.

En octobre 1999, les membres de l'association décident de créer le label Jarring Effects.
