Ivan Vinogradov

Ivan Matveievitch Vinogradov (en russe Иван Матвеевич Виноградов) (1891-1983) était un mathématicien et un académicien russe (soviétique). Il a obtenu deux fois le prix du Héros du Travail (en 1945 et en 1971).

Il est académicien à partir de 1929. Vinogradov est le premier directeur de l'Institut de mathématiques Steklov en 1934. Il a aussi publié Matematicheskaya entsiklopediya en 1977.

Ayant constitué une méthode classique de sommation trigonométrique, il a obtenu des résultats fondamentaux et a résolu de nombreux problèmes dans la théorie analytique des nombres.

En 1971, il obtient le prix Lomonosov et la médaille Lomonosov en 1970.
