52°18′N 4°42′E / 52.3, 4.7 Hoofddorp est une ville néerlandaise dans la province de la Hollande-Septentrionale, chef-lieu de la commune de Haarlemmermeer. En 2006, Hoofddorp compte 67 817 habitants.
Hoofddorp est créé en 1853 sous le nom de Kruisdorp, dans le polder Haarlemmermeer qui vient alors d'être asséché. En 1868, le village prend le nom de Hoofddorp (village principal), pour éviter toute confusion avec Kruisdorp en Zélande.
A la fin du XXe, Hoofddorp a connu une croissance rapide : de 9 000 habitants en 1970, le village est devenu ville (malgré son nom), et compte désormais près de 70 000 habitants.
