Crapaud guttural
Le crapaud guttural (Bufo gutturalis) est une espèce de batracien de la famille des Bufonidae.
Dénomination
Sa dénomination de « guttural » vient de son cri grinçant et sonore.
En anglais, il est appelé « Guttural Toad », mais parfois « Lobatsi Toad », ou encore « Square-marked Toad ».
Il a été parfois confondu avec Bufo regularis.
Caractéristiques physiques
- Longueur : 7 à 10 cm
- Couleur : brun clair et taches plus foncées, taches rouges vers la cuisse
- Peau grenue
Répartition
Sud de l'Afrique, Madagascar, Mascareignes.
